featuring talented artists from Malawi. The nominees are:
- Onesimus: Known for his hit song "Controller,

Best Male Artist award at the 8th annual Hapa Awards in Tanzania.
- Merchah: Merchah is a rising star in Malawi's music scene,
with a unique style that blends Afrobeats and fusion.
- Kell Kay: A multiple award-winning artist,
Kell Kay is a prominent figure in Malawi's music industry,
known for his Afro RnB sound and hits like "Sinzapanganso" and "Sunandi".
- Eli Njuchi: Eli Njuchi is a talented singer and songwriter who has won several awards,
including Male Artist of the Year at the UMP Awards in 2019.
He's also been nominated for the African Entertainment Awards in the USA.
- Driemo: Driemo is a popular Malawian singer and songwriter with a significant following.
His music often features a blend of Afrobeats and local flavors.
The UMP Music Awards will recognize excellence in Malawi's music industry,
celebrating both established and emerging talent.
Other notable nominees include Namadingo, Zeze Kingston, and Gwamba,
who are all making significant contributions to Malawi's music scene
